I mean, let's say you did kill us. Or didn't. There could be torture. Whatever. But somehow you found the goods. What would your cut be?

Spike's Bitches 49: As usual, I'm here to help you, and I... are you naked under there?

Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

My horny toad is happy to take hugs from your horny devil. (edit, oops: thorny devil) [link]

(That sounds all kinds of wrong)

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

And now I'm imagining your horny toad saying your tagline, and it still kind of works.

Edit, for the record:

Thorny devil in compromising position: "Do you accept awkward hugs? Because mine are pretty damn unsettling, on multiple levels."
Horny toad, radiating scepticism: "How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me."

I love that!

I just realized -- 19th wedding anniversary, and I've been on the board for over 16 years. You guys have held my hand all through this marriage thing. It's so weird. And such a long time. And it feels like a couple of years ago, at most, for both things.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Yesterday marked the final upload, less of a final poke but more of a kind 'goodnight'. They sent Billie Holiday's "I'll Be Seeing You" through space to no reply.

I keep thinking of Opportunity as the Steadfast Tin Soldier.

"Steadfast" is a virtue we don't see a lot of anymore.

Wow, that's so long, Deena! How is that possible??

Lol, bt, you knew what I meant.

I met up with some friends for drinks and tacos. Two of them were going to a concert, and two of them are at a nearby singalong at a movie theater, and I have their dog. They live far away so are spending the night here. So the dog is my valentine. I'm thinking about the Good Place version where the golden retriever was her soulmate...

I think there's something hinky going on with the space-time continuum.

We had pizza and salad and watched American Ultra with Jesse Eisenberg. It was lots of fun.

And now I'm closing up and saying goodnight. Love!

I adore all you motherfuckers so much -- PMM.

Wow, that back-scroll was definitely friendly flirtation in the Buffista style. An art I have missed seeing, I'll admit.

Thrive to spite them

Mom came down today. She brought a bookcase and Penny. We went to lunch and now she went back home and Matthew is rearranging our collectible things...mostly his most of mine are still at mom's. But today has been the first day that I've really felt like this is home vs me just having an extended stay here.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

I forgot to mention! I finally got my Botox shots on Tuesday, and my month-and-a-half long migraine went away. The only downside is that those muscles had been locked in a spasm for so long that the soft tissue around them is still inflamed, so there's been some rebound pain. BUT NO FUCKING MIGRAINES!

Also, the insurance *finally* approved Botox, so we're going to see if they'll cover it being done by my dentist instead of the neurologist.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Oh, the soreness from long-term tensed muscles is such a drag! Would warm-hot compresses help, or would cold-ice be better? Warmth is always so comforting and relaxing for me.

I had the prep done for a new crown yesterday and I want to sing hosannahs to our new dentist. There is absolutely no injection site pain or soreness today--none! This is a first for me. Also, there was no dead numbness from browbone to collarbone lasting hours after the procedure, either. Either former dentists were straight out of Little Shop of Horrors, or dentistry has changed for the better, or this guy is just really good. Whatever--I'm keeping him!
