My boys loved their ezbake oven and they both still wear a lot of pink, which goes quite nicely with their coloring. Thanks, Debet.
I didn't find out the gender prior to birth and somehow had no difficulty painting and decorating the baby's room.
'Heart Of Gold'
Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

When I get baby gifts, I tend to avoid either pink or blue. Nobody has ever complained about receiving a green baby gift.
I would just get a brown paper bag from the grocery store
Katie Bee! That is quite perfect since I have a bunch of Christmas Trader Joe's bags.
I have sent many an angry email to online retailers who insist on dividing their stores into Boys Clothes and Girls Clothes, when I just want to see ALL THE FREAKING COLORS OF GLOVES ON ONE GODDAMN PAGE.
Laura, that is an excellent and festive idea.
That is a excellent list, Debet.
Jessica, right?
Thanks, all. My most proximate circles are all 100% behind the "rainbows, unicorns, dinosaurs, and power tools are amazing, no matter what bits you have" ethos. It's that next circle out that people are more likely to be more rigid. I've tried to work around it by talking about hand-me-downs for the next one.
Your exceptions are cracking me up, Debet. I kind of want a picture book in which a fossa and a saiga antelope go on a time-traveling adventure in an El Camino to meet all the William Hoopers
Honestly, the first few months, they might as well just live in those entirely gender-neutral white, bleachable, Gerber onesies when it comes to clothes.
Add to that that this is a tropical summer baby. I think it's gonna be a case of "nothing but diaper" at home and "add a t-shirt or onesie when we go out, for propriety's sake."
I'd be totally down with the huge stack of white onesies, but my mother loves buying baby clothes, and this is the first grandkid.
