Thanks, all. My most proximate circles are all 100% behind the "rainbows, unicorns, dinosaurs, and power tools are amazing, no matter what bits you have" ethos. Add to that that this is a tropical summer baby. I think it's gonna be a case of "nothing but diaper" at home and "add a t-shirt or onesie when we go out, for propriety's sake."
I'd be totally down with the huge stack of white onesies, but my mother loves buying baby clothes, and this is the first grandkid.
