How would a nerve block work, Hil? I assume it's an injection, how long would it last?

Spike's Bitches 49: As usual, I'm here to help you, and I... are you naked under there?
Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

It is an injection. I'm not sure how long it would last. That's something I've got to talk to my doctor about.
Tomorrow is hand surgery. And I didn't finish all of the stuff I needed to get done, so I'll probably be working over the weekend, while my hand is all bandaged. I'm not quite sure how that will work.
I'll be sending the ~ma tomorrow for your surgery, Hil. I hope it yields great reward.
Thanks. It's the same type of surgery that I had on my thumb a few months ago, but it's on my ring finger this time. I'm figuring that might make healing a bit easier -- it's a lot easier to put on a splint and avoid using my ring finger for a week or two than it is to stop using my thumb.
Surgery ~ma, Hil!
surgery - ma~` and healing ma~~~
I hope it all goes smoothly, Hil.
Found an enormous dead roach in my shower/tub this morning. Due to (long story), I had showered with the lights off. Which is to say, I SHOWERED WITH A DEAD OR DYING ROACH. Hope nobody expects me to ever shower again. (It's actually really weird, I haven't seen a roach, not even in the garage, in a couple of years at least. Now the weather's cooling off, so not even the correct season for them, and this ENORMOUS one finds its way to my tub?!?! WTactualF, y'all?) I can't think about it too much or I may hurl.
ION, Surgery-ma, Hil.
Also, Penny-ma, askye.
I may have to try that "attract" litter for my neurotic mess of a cat. Thanks for the rec, WS!
I live in Florida, so I do see them pretty often, in every room. Honest story, for 38 years living in FL each and every time I go to the bathroom I lift the seat in case there is a critter. There has NEVER been one, but still not worth the risk and I will continue to do so.
Don't blame you Laura! *shudder* I'm lucky that (unlike a couple of my friends), I'm not actually phobic, but I still hate them a whole lot. Bleeecch!
