Don't blame you Laura! *shudder* I'm lucky that (unlike a couple of my friends), I'm not actually phobic, but I still hate them a whole lot. Bleeecch!
'Shells'
Spike's Bitches 49: As usual, I'm here to help you, and I... are you naked under there?
Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Went back and laughed at golem comments. Also conceded that Kyl not being human...kind of explains a lot Want new governor. Feeling somewhat personally estranged from Blasey matter, also biased, as hated Kav, from about second one, but some of these Senators are bigger asses than even I might have imagined. Also, she looks like a pro and he does not.
Those big giant roaches are more likely to travel alone than the little bitty ones. So at least you have that going for you.
Hil, best healing vibes.
It's a lazy Sunday morning for me. What's everyone doing today?
I'm wrapped up in blankets, drinking coffee/cocoa and eating hot oatmeal with apples and cinnamon. It is still only 50 in the house but the space heaters will do their thing soon. My family keeps telling me I can sleep/shower/hang at their houses with furnaces, but I feel like I am camping, and like the solitude.
Later I have a great nephew soccer game and a boat ride with neighbor to check out leaf coloration progress.
I am delaying going in to the theatre for a 14 hour day wherein I have nothing to do. I have a bunch of stuff to get done before the actors are there, but once they are onstage I have to be there, but yet have nothing to do!
Yesterday I got my birthday gift from my BFF and her mother, which was the cutest softest stuffed hippo! I know have an emotional support hippo.
Yay for emotionally supportive hippos!
I will pick big Lemon Boy tomatoes and make BLTs with avocado. Then I will rake leaves. After that, read for awhile. Pretty low key stuff.
My surgery went OK. Doctor's bedside manner could use some work, though. He's an older guy, and always does that sort of "jokey" stuff that guys that age seem to think put women at ease or something, but it's really just annoying. Usually, I can deal with it, because he's a really good surgeon. This week, I was really just not in the mood for dealing with all of that while I was strapped to a table and he was doing really painful stuff to my hand. (An EDS thing is that we often need more local anesthesia than people usually do, and getting all of it injected hurts like hell.)
Plan for today includes art class at the local diversity coalition, working out at the community center, possibly getting a haircut, lunch out with Daniel, and maybe a bit of gardening later.
I made a sweater for Harvey, and he appears quite content with wearing it.
