Mal: You are very much lacking in imagination. Zoe: I imagine that's so, sir.

'Out Of Gas'

Spike's Bitches 49: As usual, I'm here to help you, and I... are you naked under there?

Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Our wings are not tired.

It amused me considerably with the assumption that my browser changed words to bench and fork. I'll take amusement where I can.

Also, it is terrific.

Thrive to spite them

Today just sucks. Penny is ok. Well she has idiopathic cystitis probably from stress. Shes been home alone except for the other cat a lot because mom is out of town and I've been working and havent been getting home until 7 or aftee.

She peed in my purse and on my wallet.

I found out when I got to work they scheduled no one to close today and no one realized until yesterday. So I stayed until 7m except when I got Penny from the bet and brought her home and ate and went back to work.

It's 7:42 and I need to do dishes so I can make dinner and then do dishes again. Do laundry and now clean up the diet coke that spilled everywhere. When I'm over tired my spatial sense is worse and I hit the back of a kitchen chair with an open diet coke can.

It was also the last diet coke.

I am not good at living alone. Especially when I'm working 945 until 645 most days and also trying to get stuff done.

I also need to get the trash to the transfer station, try to find an old purse and wallet to use and there was something else.

I have Saturday and Sunday off and I was going to see Matthew but if he gets his tires replaced he can come up here otherwise I will go down there next Friday night so we can leave for Florida first thing next Sat.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

That's a really hard time, askye.

I don't know how I am going to manage 2 weeks of eye drops and liquid medication for Harvey. He isn't listening to my "It's very important to me that you get well, so I need you to take your medicine" emoting. His claws are trimmed, so he isn't slicing me up but he is leaving nasty bruises. But I'm the momma. So I have to do it.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I just realized that I've had one major medical procedure per week for the past three weeks. Colonoscopy, then CAT scan, and this week is hand surgery. And endoscopy was a few weeks before that.

This is somewhat absurd.

And my EDS doctor has been talking about trying a nerve block for my ankle, which I'm considering.

Bodies are stupid.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

How would a nerve block work, Hil? I assume it's an injection, how long would it last?

It is an injection. I'm not sure how long it would last. That's something I've got to talk to my doctor about.

Tomorrow is hand surgery. And I didn't finish all of the stuff I needed to get done, so I'll probably be working over the weekend, while my hand is all bandaged. I'm not quite sure how that will work.

I'll be sending the ~ma tomorrow for your surgery, Hil. I hope it yields great reward.

Thanks. It's the same type of surgery that I had on my thumb a few months ago, but it's on my ring finger this time. I'm figuring that might make healing a bit easier -- it's a lot easier to put on a splint and avoid using my ring finger for a week or two than it is to stop using my thumb.
