Feel better, Teppy!
All the food is cooked, favors have been assembled, and lists upon lists have been made for ltc's birthday party tomorrow. I should be calm, but I'm so nervous that we have forgot everything.
Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

The combo of migraine meds and cheap Chardonnay led to me dancing my ass off at the reception, and now my 47-year-old self is shamefully sore. But you can't play KC and the Sunshine Band and expect me to just sit there. And then once I'm on the dance floor, I have proven that I will dance to just about anything (though not Nirvana; I sat that one out, but Tim busted out some truly glorious headbanging to the chorus of Smells Like Teen Spirit).
By the end of the reception, Tim and I were the only ones dancing (come on, you HAVE to dance to Al Green), and so the DJ came over and said "I'll play whatever you guys want, since you're the only ones dancing. You want more Al Green?" Awwwww YEAH. Also a little Marvin Gaye action, too.
You invite Aunt Steph, you get an enthusiastic, if not talented, force of nature on the dance floor.
And an unseasonably cool day to you, Epic, when that wedding rolls around.
Thanks, Cindy! Your lips (keyboard?) to God's ears! It's good to see you! (She says, then realizes that she's been lurking like the masked guy on an ep of Scooby Do herself...So, great to see AND be seen!)

Yet again, I wish we lived closer to each other!
If anyone's interested (he he), there's a move afoot to build a Comic-Con Museum (in San Diego, of course).
I'm under the impression that it's a done deal, actually. They're taking over the museum space that used to be The Hall of Champions in Balboa Park. To open in...2020, I think?
I think that's it - the story I read was that they were trying to raise enough money to get it done and find a company that could/would do the work.
In other (semi-related) news, capes!
There's a video around of a wedding in New Zealand where a group of men start doing a haka ... and the bride starts crying, the groom joins in, a bridesmaid joins in and then the bride joins in. I kind of love it.
I remember seeing that! It was awesome.
Aims and Cindy! Good to see you here again!
Good to be here again, myself.
Yay, Zen! Hi Zen!
Hi, Epic!
Dental ordeal is done, wasn't as bad as expected, but now I have a migraine and I'm sick to my stomach, so I'm going to bed. Really glad I called out of work today, no way I could get anything done.
