I had Graeter's Ice cream! They had it at the grocery store. Bourbon Pecan chocolate chip. soooo good and very boozy
Spike's Bitches 49: As usual, I'm here to help you, and I... are you naked under there?
Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Oooh, ice cream!
Possibly I need more sleep.

I haven't tried that one! But I need to. Yum!
I love a bourbon chocolate pecan pie, so that sounds amazing.
Right now I'm so hot and sweaty all I can think about eating is a frozen yogurt mint chocolate chip bar. The humidity is ramping up for summer and I just spent six hours carefully deconstructing the middle third of a tomb roof with my two colleagues. We did good for two brokedown 40-somethings and a pregnant lady. At one point I was sitting on the roof of a neighboring tomb with my legs almost in a straddle split reaching down into the tomb to haul out a 1/2" thick piece of slate 36"x 36". I wrote "demo and general badassery" on my timesheet.
For reals, though, I love that job.
Fourth trip to the doc in 2 weeks today.
Beekaytee, I hope the anti's and pro's help and keep you away from the doc for a third time.
i managed to get some paperwork crap
That does sound like some paperwork BS.
Bourbon Pecan chocolate chip
OMG...that sounds utterly delicious and so completely against my food plans. I have been splurging way too much lately, so I'm buckling down and trying so hard to resist temptation.
Today, CJ and I have been talking about his need to make plans in order to reach his academic and future career goals. I was advocating for listing goals and then breaking them down into smaller goals and then breaking those down to activities and putting them on a calendar. He is so fly by the seat of his pants that this planning stuff is hard to conceive. This then lead to a discussion of my job and how I'm involved in project planning, and breaking the project into tasks and schedule and so forth. I don't think he realized that was part of what I do and that is why I approach things by making lists. In his mind I still do just accounting and playing with numbers. Ok, yes, I do play with numbers but it is more on the analysis side than the processing side. Anyway, not sure if I convinced him to let me help him develop a plan to get through school. His 2 year AA is looking to be a 4 year, minimum, AA.
TCG's stepmother was hospitalized and had surgery today for a bowel blockage. She's doing well, but any ~ma you can spare for a quick recovery would be great.
I made egg custard pie. and the crust. It was kind of a disaster, mostly from not having a pie pan and having to use a flimsy disposable one that wasn't deep enough.
Also I don't like egg custard when it's warm so I'll see how I feel tomorrow after it's been in the fridge. Pie crust turned out ok
~ma for TCG's stepmother.
Bourbon chocolate pecan pie? That sounds like a perfect dessert for a badass like yourself, smonster.
I think sometimes skills like long range planning are so nebulous to someone whose strengths lie in other areas - it's not like balancing a checkbook where the steps are laid out and if you just follow the directions, it'll work. There is a blank spot in the person's mind where the details and concepts that make it work are just not there. Sometimes breaking it down and relating to a more familiar process helps, and I would say if the person is willing to try, finding a lot of examples in different areas of life might help - gaming, art, sport, etc.
Definite improvement on my face - the rash is less red today, takes up less landscape, fewer cracks, less pain.
