Spike's Bitches 49: As usual, I'm here to help you, and I... are you naked under there?

Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Zen, if nothing else, I hope it gave you a good sleep.

Thrive to spite them

I am changing meds again . Back to trying Vyvanse at low dose to see if it works enough without side effects that bother me too much.

I am going to the beach soon . April 9th to 15h. I did not go to Florida last year so I am excited.

And M is going with me. I kind of said "I wish you could go" not exactly meaning it and then he's coming. I'm excited now . I can't wait to see his reaction. Plus he said he would drive.

It seems like a big step in the relationship. He also gave me a key to his place and yesterday I went down, hing out until he got off work and we had dinner and then watched Brooklyn 99 and Black Adder

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Ooooh, askye! How exciting. Happy for you.

Our wings are not tired.

Yay Beach! Nice that M is going too.

I get to the beach tomorrow. Don't go often enough. DH has been going every day, often twice a day, to walk. Yes, I need to go with him. I have to convince him to walk ahead without me though. Our stride and pace is completely different and he holds back when I go with him, which is lovely, but not so aerobic for him.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Goodness. Friend on FB is posting about how bananas have "tons" more sugar now than they did back in the day, so we're "risking diabetes" if we eat them, and by the way, isn't it worrisome that apples are so much bigger than they used to be in the Good Olde Days?

In a world where donuts with Fruity Pebbles on them exist, is "my apple is large" REALLY a problem? Fruit is good. Larger apple = more fruit = yay. Where is the bad here? (I may be a little defensive because I just ate a [large] Fuji apple with peanut butter.) (Large apple = yay.)

Also, for the record, I think that if someone wants to eat a donut with Fruity Pebbles on it, they should, because I am not the boss of them and I ain't give a damn what they eat.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Apples with peanut butter are amazing.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Oy, Steph. Big apple is not a problem. They can eat the whole thing or they can cut it in half if they want. Has this person never learned the art of slicing an apple?

This person is apparently eating keto/paleo/low-carb for weight loss, so she's decided that all sugar is bad, even sugar that occurs naturally in fruit.

And, much like how I don't care if someone eats a donut with Fruity Pebbles on it (this is a real thing at a donut shop here), I don't care if someone eats low-carb. I just dislike hearing things that have no actual basis in fact. Fruit is fine for most people (though of course there are people who have medically supervised diets like keto to prevent seizures, where it's important to adhere really strictly to it, but that's a small fraction of the population).

In conclusion, why ARE apples so good with peanut butter on them?

Thank you for coming to my TED talk.

Always Anti-fascist!

Dumb shit that a able-bodied dude said: Rather than struggle to maintain our self-definition as a minority, let other people decide what to call you. Um, yeah, that's why women's literacy rates were in the cellar for the first hundred years of our nation. I wish I'd just tweeted back "Nothing about us without us, motherfucker," but I'll give that a few days. It's in the chamber, though, in case you're pondering.

Apples with peanut butter are the yummiest. Now I have to also make a pitch for peanut butter on the (filled with natural sugar) bananas that grow in my yard too. Short version, peanut butter is yummy.
