Faith: A kid. Angel's got a kid. Wesley: Connor. Faith: A teenage kid born last year. Wesley: I told you, he grew up in a hell dimension. Faith: Right. And what, Cordelia spent her last summer as… Wesley: A divine being. Faith: Uh-huh. Can I just ask--What the hell are you people doing?

'Why We Fight'

Spike's Bitches 49: As usual, I'm here to help you, and I... are you naked under there?

Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Surgery went pretty well, I think. The local anesthesia hasn't worn off yet, so I don't know how much it will hurt. They said that I should probably be OK with just Advil and Tylenol, but to take actual painkillers if I need them. I'm supposed to keep all the wrapping on until Friday, so I'll see how it looks then. I know I've got some stitched -- I'll get them out in a couple weeks.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

That's good news, Hil.

My nephew-in-law came over to look at my old wooden fence that fell down in the last storm. We agreed that it really wasn't worth putting it back up and I decided that I will be happier replacing it with a hedge than another fence. So that decision makes me happy. Jake will come over next Monday and haul away the old fence. Then when it's time to plant, he'll plant me a hedge.

Excellent news, Hil!

Strix, I hope your nerve heals quickly.

Thrive to spite them

Hil that is great!

ION I didn't sleep last night my brain won't shut off. The weighed blanket help A some but not enough. It's phuscally kept me feeling calmer but hasn't shut my brain down.

I realized that I hadn't enrolled in my dental and vision plan. It was less than 2 weeks ago I was able to and I went and it says my enrollment period is over and it should have been 31 days. So now I am upset at myself.

And I can't stop thinking about all the things I need to do at work. There are some things I can do to make my life easier at work but I need time to do them and I need to figure out how to find time to do it. I also need to clarify what they want my responsibilities to be since they are treating me like a department lead even though I am not officially one.

askye, if you didn't have as much time as you should've had to enroll, contact HR. That happened to me once.

Thrive to spite them

The HR manager at the store did. I can call them Monday . They tried to blame him and it looks like they set my enrollment date from his first attempt to be my classifi3d as permanent, not his third.

Also I hate the online system for payroll and checking our schedules. Both use the same employee number (not the same one we use in the store) but different passwords. The benefits one tends to tell me my password is wrong about wvery 3rd time I try to log in. I can't save it on Google or figure out why since it's the same username.

They are changing it soon. The store manager said with the various programs and websites they have to use he has 20 passwords to keep track of.

If I'm going to keep sleeping on cat-schedule, I'm going to need more hours in the day to get everything done. I propose we abolish Monday and add four more hours to each remaining day.
