I'm farsighted, so seeing anything close without some kind of glasses isn't an option. Part of this could be allergies too. Seems this year I want to not like spring pollen again.

Spike's Bitches 49: As usual, I'm here to help you, and I... are you naked under there?
Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Did you put the new glasses on at the eye place and wear them home, or did they advise you to stay in the old glasses for the day then put on the new ones in the morning after the night's sleep? That was a trick I learned a couple prescriptions ago. It made the transition less headachy.
They asked if I wanted to wear the new ones home or "start fresh" and I opted for the second. I tend to get depth perception weirdness with new glasses and was kind of afraid to drive until I had some idea what to expect.
Double vision would be very off-putting. Do not like.
Visited with FauxSon today, and he told me that he's expecting his wife to file for divorce in a few months. He's actually known this was in the works, because she's told him for years that once the kids were gone she was out. Though she is suggesting she get a little apartment near where she works--really well paying but a 2-hour one-way commute--and she could visit on weekends, so maybe they don't really need a divorce. He says he's kind of looking forward to not living with someone who belittles him all the time. Poor guy. I knew they weren't really happy, but I thought they were at least content. I didn't know exit plans were in place.
-t, your tag line made me LOL, and rewind, and LOL, and rewind...
Right? So funny and so perfectly delivered.
Man, this sinus infection is relentless. I finished the z-pak yesterday, and I don't feel any better, plus my snot is still nasty green. I emailed Awesome Doctor today to see about different antibiotics. He might want to throw steroids at it, which is fine, but the green snot seems to indicate persistent infection, which I would think means more antibiotics.
The human sinus cavity: proof that "Intelligent Design" is bullshit.
Does anyone here know how to care for orchids? I bought some for a co-worker but she is out sick this week. I bought them Wed morning. The tag says to "water with 3 ice cubes once per week." Should I assume it's not needed until next Wed? Flowers look just fine... She'll prob be back to get them Monday.
You can just mist them lightly and they should be just fine.
Yes, they are not big drinkers. Lots of people just mist them, but I know some that use the ice cube method.
