I can, meara. But it is still asking someone to come give me a ride. I can't just impulsively hop in my car and wander around or hop on the freeway and blast music just to get out of my brain for a bit.

There is a gallery inLA which does fan and culture-related work. They are about to open a Monty Python themed exhibit, for those in town. For those of us NOT in town, they sell a lot of cool artwork and prints online. I think many Buffistas would be interested....I know I sure am. [link]

I had PLANS for this weekend. I wanted to get caught back up on school work - 2 discussion questions and either 3 or 4 papers. I also wanted to do laundry, finally put away the last of the Christmas ornaments, and get caught up on some DCC stuff.

Yesterday I literally slept all day. I was up for a couple of hours around 9pm but then slept until 10am. Since then I've been utterly zoned out, blowing my nose, and dealing with complete brain fog. The only actual physical efforts have been getting up to make honey tea. And I'm almost out of honey.

Has my ick scared everyone away. I still feel awful, but the hammered crap feeling is only about a 5 right now. Crowley has been great about snuggling me as I work. He also tries so hard to keep the couch clean of my used tissues. His methods of disposal are very questionable.

I think I've found a place to move. It's a shotgun, which is not ideal, but we work opposite schedules and I'd have two rooms to myself, which means I can write one off as an office. She's an acquaintance, a friend of a friend, and we talked for four hours last week and hashed our a lot of stuff. Much better communicator than then current asshole. I've let her know I'd like to move forward and am waiting for her response. Still bitter AF about losing this place, but it's time to move on.

I hope this ends up being a really good move, smonster, and that it is the last one until you become so prosperous that you are buying a house (or something like that).

I have spilled tea on the couch twice this afternoon. I had ordered groceries through my local store's shop-on-line, pick it up curbside, went to pick it up this afternoon only to discover that the pick up date is tomorrow. The e-mail confirmation says so - not sure how that slipped by me. Cotton brain.

TCG and I we're both sick all last night and most of today with the nastiest stomach bug I ever remember having. So we spent the day alternating being ill and taking care of ltc. Oh, and we had construction workers in the house. Im exhausted.
