This has been such a crappy week. Can it be over now? Car trouble time 2, so goodbye to over $2000. I have laryngitis, and ltc woke up covered in puke this morning. And I still won't have access to a vehicle I can actually drive until next week at the earliest.

Thanks, WS. I have people lined up to take ltc to school. So, now I just need to deal with the trapped feeling trapped in the house. TCG is going to take ltc out for a walk today, which means I'll have a little quiet time to myself. Which means this week is already looking up.

sj, I'm glad things are falling in place to make the week less onerous.
now I just need to deal with the trapped feeling trapped in the house.
This is the biggest thing that has me concerned about my foot surgery. Not being able to drive for 6 weeks, minimum, I'm already feeling trapped. While I have a few people who have offered to drive me places or come visit, knowing I can't just hop in the car and go...ugh.

Suzi, will you be able to Uber and Lyft? I was contemplating renting a car for this weekend when I'm at my cousins, but then was like "I'll mostly be with them, if I really want to go somewhere I can lyft!"

There is a gallery inLA which does fan and culture-related work. They are about to open a Monty Python themed exhibit, for those in town. For those of us NOT in town, they sell a lot of cool artwork and prints online. I think many Buffistas would be interested....I know I sure am. [link]

I had PLANS for this weekend. I wanted to get caught back up on school work - 2 discussion questions and either 3 or 4 papers. I also wanted to do laundry, finally put away the last of the Christmas ornaments, and get caught up on some DCC stuff.
Yesterday I literally slept all day. I was up for a couple of hours around 9pm but then slept until 10am. Since then I've been utterly zoned out, blowing my nose, and dealing with complete brain fog. The only actual physical efforts have been getting up to make honey tea. And I'm almost out of honey.
