Man, Tim found out more stuff about not!son last night, from not!son's GF, that made him angrier than I've ever seen him. The most egregious thing is that, when not!son has lost jobs in the past (and it's never his fault -- it's always because of someone who's "out to get him"), his GF is the one who applied for unemployment for him while he sat around and played video games. Every. Single. Time.

That's one of the lamest things I've heard of. And a lot of my friends ain't right. However, my stepbrother did manage to find his passion and support his kids after "studying for" his GED for eight years. he's an EMT now. If that dude can get it together, ANYONE can.(Maybe this is another reason Robert Downey junior is a favorite...it's stupid that I'm still proud of him, right? But I am.)

Well, they have 2 kids together, and he's going to want visitation rights. (He currently -- or at least until he ended up in jail -- sees them every Thursday evening, since he doesn't live with them and the GF doesn't currently have her driver's license, either. [Yeah, they are a hot goddamn mess.]) So they'll have some kind of contact because of the kids, even if she does tell him their relationship is over.

He says that his daughters are the most important thing in his life, and I believe that's true in an emotional sense (or true to *him*, at least), but the way in which he lives his life does not prove that to be true.
