Angel: Eve. So, I guess we should, I don't know, talk? Eve: About what? Angel: About what happened back there with us. Eve: Angel, it's not like this is the first time I've had sex under a mystical influence. I went to U.C. Santa Cruz.

'Life of the Party'

Spike's Bitches 49: As usual, I'm here to help you, and I... are you naked under there?

Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Always Anti-fascist!

Yeah, could be worse. Yeah, if it was somebody in the fandom, I might have said it, but I'm not sure if he would get it, and that might seem ghoulish(Which my sense of humor does have elements of)

Always Anti-fascist!

I watched this weird show the other night called (I think) "I Catfished my Kid" where they found the last four parents of teenaged kids who never get online and are very worried about Internet White Slavers coming to take their homely and rather desperate for attention daughters and selling them, or something? I wished I could send them Allyson's book.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Well, that was awkward. I got back to Cincinnati, and ordered some dinner on GrubHub. A little while later, my friend's husband messaged me on Facebook: ""Lol god damn it all. You'll be the first to know about my shameful secret food delivery side job." At least I tipped pretty well on that order. (And good thing he messaged me first -- otherwise, I would have answered the door without a bra, because I've been on a plane all day, and those shoulder straps hurt. But, person that I know coming to the door, the bra goes back on.)

Always Anti-fascist!

My brother delivers food on weekends sometimes, for Uber, I think.

Well, this will at least make my "Cook dinner more often, and stop ordering in as much" resolution easier to keep, to avoid awkwardness.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

It bothers me that someone who works full time but needs a side job to help make ends meet also needs to bear the burden of feeling shamed, whereas the assholes running the country who felt obliged to pass on more wealth to the wealthiest in the country don't.

They are actually whining about their press coverage right now and it's NFG.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Remember the saga of Tim's not!son? He is still living in his car. And it is going to get to a low of -4 degrees tonight. I refuse to let not!son crash here indefinitely, but Tim is going to go get him and bring him back to sleep on our couch for at least tonight, and maybe until the weekend, when the temperatures will go back up into the 30s and 40s.

Not!son is working at Tim's company temporarily, so he won't be in the house all day getting underfoot while I work; he'll just go with Tim in the morning. But even if he had no place to go during the day, I'd still tell Tim to bring him here for the next couple-few days. He could literally die in that weather. Sure, I have an opinion on what he could be doing to get his life together (but isn't), but I'm not a monster. Our house is actually stupid cold in this weather, because it's old and the windows are single-paned, but compared to sleeping in your car in -4 degree weather, our house is pretty warm.

Though I am not sacrificial enough to give up my heated mattress pad. For anyone.

Our wings are not tired.

Tough love does not mean stopping being compassionate and kind. Below zero is seriously cold.

As a birthday present for DH I got tickets for all of us to go see Jumanji tonight. The original came out in 1995 when my kids were at the age that you watch a movie dozens of times, at least. It was important to me that I see it with the "kids". A good time was had by all. We are going to rewatch the original together too. The theater comfy recliners and 3D stuff is nice, but I do miss that pause button.
