You'll fight, and you'll shag, and you'll hate each other till it makes you quiver, but you'll never be friends.

Spike's Bitches 49: As usual, I'm here to help you, and I... are you naked under there?

Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Our wings are not tired.

Going to look at a house with the kids today! They looked at it with her parents yesterday. Exciting.

Ugh, Glam. No advice but all the parenting empathy. ltc decided over Thanksgiving at Mom's that one of us had to be in the room with her when she fell asleep. It was a strange room and she was terrified. So, we obliged. Now she wants us sitting in the rocking chair in her room until she falls asleep at nap and bedtime. I stayed for a bit today and then left her to scream for a couple of minutes.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Ah, kids. Why so difficult?

sj, I feel you. Peanut used to be fine with me cuddling her for a bit at naptime & then putting her in her crib & walking away, but ever since we took the trip down to my parents, she's wanted me to stay & rub her back until she falls asleep.

Also, since it took 30 bloody minutes to find parking today (after a short jaunt to GG Park wherein most of the playground was soggy), she sobbed all the way through her lunch. Which I don't blame her for - I felt like breaking down myself after that ordeal.
