Here's a Mishka story I like to remember.

I always believed that he could hear me thinking. One day he had tenderly washed my face. Suddenly I had a silly thought and I wondered, would my nose fit into his mouth? He leaned forward and gave me an intent look, so I knew something was about to happen. Slowly he opened his mouth wide, and, you betcha. My nose DID totally fit all the way into his mouth. I had a moment to think, wow, if he bites down it will Suuuuuuck. Then he let me go and sat back, totally pleased with himself. He had answered my question.

There was much happy laughter and petting then. Good times.

I'm feeling totally fine today, so yesterday was probably just allergies.

So the info I got on the phone about hours and chances for things like benefits at this store may not have been accurate. So now it looks like everyone is part time . But the pay is still higher. And there is no promise of anything after seasonal.

So now I'm waiting to meet with someone else and I have to decide.

And I now have a second interview for a permanent position . I was going to be hired on the spot and basically traded a guaranteed seasonal position for a chance at permanent postion.

I need advice on how to handle the job offer I have with this other interview. I don't know what to say and I'm supposed to go in and fill out paperwork on Tuesday.

It's at the same company? When is the second interview?

Two different companies. 2nd interview is on Thursday for Target but on Tuesday I'm supposed to go full out paperwork and start orientation for the department stor

You could ask to reschedule paperwork and orientation for the following week.

I've been playing phone tag and I can't log into the website I need to for prelim things . I let the HR guy know and I also said i want to verify pay. And I'll go from there. I have to believe that things will work out.

If you can't reschedule just go in and do the paperwork on Tuesday as planned while the other plays out. Don't mention you have something else in the works.
