I want to torture you. I used to love it, and it's been a long time. I mean, the last time I tortured someone, they didn't even have chainsaws.

Spike's Bitches 49: As usual, I'm here to help you, and I... are you naked under there?

Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

The good - I got 2 tickets to see P!nk next May!!!
The bad - I was trying to get 6 tickets

The good - I sent a note to the rescue saying I needed to return Dahlia, my stress levels cannot be helping her and I needed to stand up for myself.
The frustrating - the addition of Jack has actually helped the dynamic with the dogs. Crowley can run off his energy with Jack and Dahlia isn't getting stressed by Crowley.
The bad - She is not housebroken at all

The good - I sent a note to my doctor regarding my depression levels.
The frustrating - She wants me to come in for an appointment even though I was there a few weeks ago for a med check
The bad - I have to call and make an appointment and knowing her typical schedule, it will be a few weeks out.

I'm EXHAUSTED.

Hil, I was just looking at professional organizers online. And their before pictures are not nearly messy enough for me.

Today is a better day.

One person who wanted to go to Pink has changed her mind. I'm going to see if I can get 3 more when they go on general sale on Friday and even if we can't all sit together, we can all go together.

I took Dahlia back to the rescue yesterday and felt like a weight was off my shoulders. The owner of the rescue is amazing with dogs, so she is going to see what she can do to help her.

I have NOT called to make a doctor's appointment. I ended up sleeping a LOT yesterday afternoon and got over 10 hours last night and I'm feeling much better mentally right now. Rebuilding my ability to cope.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Yeah, sometimes what your body needs is a lot of sleep, even when you think you're getting enough. I'm glad you're feeling better.

I am looking for sports bras, nice basic, pull-over, non-racer-back sports bras. No underwires, no extraordinary support, I've got no concerns about lifting and separating, one of the benefits to me of being overweight and middle-aged. I just want comfortable containment with no hooks poking into me. Does anyone have brands they like in such things?

So I have a job interview at target on Friday. It's part time but maybe ibcould be cross trained to meet full-time hours. And the starting pay for the position is $13/hr. It is 55 min drive but the issue there is just how I would feel driving back and forth. I'm not sure what to do about the job I accepted.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Connie, I buy Comfort Choice sports bras. Moderate support for a large bosom, all cotton, about as comfortable as a bra can be.

How far is most work, from your house? I mean, if you're working 8 hours, then two hours driving doesn't impact the money thaaaat much. But if you're working shorter shifts, that's bringing down your pay per hour a lot. Plus gas?

The job I accepted is probably the closest. The next closest viable location is 40 mins, but that would be taking a different route with less traffic.

I've had to spend that much time in the car before and in Tallahassee it was a much shorter distance just more traffic.

I think it feels bigger because I have to go up and down the really curvy mountain road. And I don't have to go through town there is a back way to bypass town and cut some time off. It will be longer during the holidays because of increased traffic. Not only are all the big box stores together the on ramp for going to Asheville is right there (Target is just last that) and traffic can get backed up.

I got spoiled living in Vermont where there wasn't much traffic to deal with and when I did have to drive far it went quicker for the most part.
