That's one spunky little girl you've raised. I'm gonna eat her.

Spike's Bitches 49: As usual, I'm here to help you, and I... are you naked under there?

Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

If you can, I would give the itching at least a good week to 10 days to subside before ditching the Prozac. Just to see if it will go away?

I'm keeping a close eye out in case an actual rash appears, because that can be a dangerous sign. In the meantime, I took half a dose of Prozac this morning to see if starting at a lower dose would help reduce the itchiness. (The doctor prescribed 20 mg in tablet form, rather than capsule form, and when I talked to the NP on the phone, she said they were prescribing the tablet form specifically so that I could break it in half if necessary.)

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

For a while, I was doing Prozac and Wellbutrin, which my psychiatrist at the time described as the poor man's way to create Effexor (my words, not his)

Interesting. I'm on Celexa and Welbutrin, and as I said earlier, Effexor didn't work for me (in place of Celexa, before I started Welbutrin).

Jesus, brain chemistry is exhausting.

Thrive to spite them

Thanks Steph. The night guard helps but I wasn't able to wear it when my mouth was so irritated and even now I can only wear it a few nights in a row. But if my jaw is sore and I do that it helps.

I had therapy again. I may have really screwed myself in terms of health insurance in the future. I am trying to practice some radical acceptance and do the best I can. Tbive to spite the GOP assholes.

And M is coming over to hang out and eat pizza while the game is on. He isn't coming to watch the game because he doesn't like sports. We may break out a card game while football is on.

I invited my brother and nephew but they are going camping.

Thrive to spite them

I don't have anything to say about the meds. I've been on so many bit I was taking them for a wrong diagnosis so I'm not sure if any of it ultimately helped.

Epic, I'm so sorry. I'm glad you were with her and you could provide her with peace in the end. My thoughts are with you as you navigate the world without her.

School is driving me crazy and I think I'm driving my current professor crazy. With most of my classes I have a 5-8 page paper due each week with a larger portfolio paper due on the last day. Sometimes there are milestone assignments that build to the larger paper, for example an outline during week 2 and the introduction and planned references in the 5th.

I'm currently taking my Project Management Capstone class and we have two papers due each week. The regular weekly paper plus a weekly milestone paper. The week 1 milestone paper description explains the overall concept for the portfolio paper, then a list that includes two section headers with a total of 14 subsections between the two and has a required page count of 2-4 pages. Just listing out the outline and writing the introductory paragraph (which isn't specifically requested in the directions but I'm supposed to get my topic approved) I'm at 7 pages.

I sent one email earlier in the week asking what she expected based on the seemingly contradictory directions and she said "Not very much detail. This is really setting you up to have a nice outline for the final paper". Ok...but you want some detail? Is the introductory paragraph enough? Do you want general statements for each of the subsections? If I were to truly address the 14 subsections and do them justice, I could easily do a page each PLUS supporting tables in the appendix.

I sent her another message today asking for more specific direction. I don't want my hand held but I also don't want to miss the point of the assignment.

On top of all this, the other weekly milestone papers add more subsections for a total of 36 subsections overall, plus more pages in the appendix and the final portfolio page count is supposed to be 12-15 pages. So, about half a page per subsection, plus intro/conclusion and section introductions? Even trying to do that, I'll end up with another 15 pages in the Appendix that doesn't count toward my page count. I get that this is supposed to be comprehensive and I've never been one to write more than what is required, but I'm just not getting how to address the apparent requirements without writing a book.
