Every time I have to tweak mine, which is fortunately not often and not drastic, husband can't get over the fact that sometimes meds just stop working, and there's no way to figure out what will work besides trial and error.
'Heart Of Gold'
Spike's Bitches 49: As usual, I'm here to help you, and I... are you naked under there?
Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Sitting in Mom's hospital room, waiting for test results. She seemed like she was doing some better, then when I came in tonight, she wasn't talking, like at all. I was chalking it up to her being tired, but then the nurses and Drs started kinda freaking out, so I started freaking out. It looks like a stroke, but with the amount of blood thinners she's on, it seems unlikely. They've ruled out heart attack, but still waiting to hear whether it might be a brain bleed. A couple of friends are on the way to wait with me now.
Oh, Epic. Wishing you strength and calm and friends, soon. Remember to take care of yourself, too, when you can.
Sending you love and strength, Epic. I hope your friends get there soon.
Oh, Epic. I'll be thinking about you.
Oh, Epic, much love and ~ma for you and your mom.
I'm so sorry, Epic! Much love and best wishes to you and your mom. I hope they'll find an easy answer.
No easy answer, unfortunately. Not a major heart attack, possibly a minor heart incident. No brain bleed on the CT, they can't do an MRI, but the kind of strokes an MRI would show are unlikely. So they're adjusting meds to try to calm her heart and lower her heart enzymes, and allowing her blood pressure to rise a bit to make sure there's sufficient flow to her brain. They seem to be bewildered about why she's not able to talk. So now I'm just in wait and see mode apparently. We left when she finally got to sleep. Praying for good news tomorrow.
Oh Epic, I am sorry. So glad you have friends who could come and be physically present with you. I hope for good news tomorrow (today).
Epic, I hope your mom is doing better today. Please keep us updated.
