Get up...get up, you stupid piece of... What did you do that for? What's wrong with you? Didn't you hear a word he said? All of you! You think there's someone just going to drop money on you?! Money they could use?! Well, there ain't people like that. There's just people like me.

Spike's Bitches 49: As usual, I'm here to help you, and I... are you naked under there?

Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

why not get your gallbladder taken out to spite the insurer?

That feels like an extreme way to spite them. Though I might as well do it when I won't have to pay.

The new antidepressant's price is prohibitively expensive, so now we have to figure out another option. I'm really fucking discouraged about it. I know I need to be on meds ASAP, but I'm allergic to an increasingly large number of antidepressants, and others (like Wellbutrin) make me batshit crazy.

I know this is only a setback, but I cried all the way home from CVS because it feels like a daunting challenge to figure out.

Because books.

Is the Nexium not helping anymore, Steph? But yay for Awesome Doctor and the antidepressants! Ack -- sorry for the sky-high price. Fingers crossed you can find something affordable that works well.

Good luck tomorrow, askye!

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Augh. Fuck them all.

That sucks, Teppy. I tried adding one to mine when I finally got the energy up to go to the doctor. And it kinda helped but the side effects were awful. So we tried tapering off that and upping the dose of the original one. I'm thinking it's somewhat helpful but not enough. Still have brain weasels on occasion.

Every time I have to tweak mine, which is fortunately not often and not drastic, husband can't get over the fact that sometimes meds just stop working, and there's no way to figure out what will work besides trial and error.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

Sitting in Mom's hospital room, waiting for test results. She seemed like she was doing some better, then when I came in tonight, she wasn't talking, like at all. I was chalking it up to her being tired, but then the nurses and Drs started kinda freaking out, so I started freaking out. It looks like a stroke, but with the amount of blood thinners she's on, it seems unlikely. They've ruled out heart attack, but still waiting to hear whether it might be a brain bleed. A couple of friends are on the way to wait with me now.

Because books.

Oh, Epic. Wishing you strength and calm and friends, soon. Remember to take care of yourself, too, when you can.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

Sending you love and strength, Epic. I hope your friends get there soon.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Oh, Epic. I'll be thinking about you.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Oh, Epic, much love and ~ma for you and your mom.
