~ma for your mom, Epic, and may you enjoy the good parts of your weekend, with as little worry and stress as possible.
We had rain this morning, complete with thunder. It lasted a couple of hours, and while the sky is still cloudy, they are actual *clouds*, not just a solid pall, and between the clouds are glimpses of a *blue* sky.
I wish the rain had included south and east of here, but I'm grateful to be able to breathe easier.
Health ~ma for your mother, Epic.
Biting my nails watching this storm approach. It's caused such devastation already, and it will just get worse.
At least something is finally distracting me from the Trump disaster...
Driving today and listening to MSNBC I kept thinking at least it wasn't all Trump all the time.
I'm crunching through my final paper for my Project Management Office class. It is due by midnight tomorrow but our professor has asked, if possible, us to turn them in as soon as possible because he lives in Tampa Bay area and expects to lose power and internet Sunday/Monday. I'd guess that is an understatement since Tampa has been told to evacuate. But I don't know if I'll be done today. Arrrggggg. I'm a bad enough procrastinator.
Been keeping this sort of close to the chest, because I do that with important shit. But someone told me I need to brag about myself a bit, and he's right.
After 30 years, I am no longer a smoker. Six weeks and going strong!
That is awesome, brenda!! Trust me on this, it is a freedom to be rid of the need.
Congrats, Brenda! You rule.
Yay Brenda! I never knew you were a smoker in the first place.
