My third this year, I think. I am so worn out.
Oh no, sj. What a misery.
It doesn't compare to a full on kidney infection, but I'm in the middle of my third uti in as many months.
Blergh. So tedious and painful.
I also hate to be taking endless antibiotics. I've got to turn this health boat around.
sj and beekaytee, I'm concerned about your repeated infections. I hope you both can get yourselves built back up to strength so you don't keep having them. In the meantime, thank goodness for antibiotics.
Thanks, everyone.
WS, this is just part of life with SB. It isn't likely to stop happening anytime soon. It's just much more of a PITA when you have a toddler to look after, and you are already hacking up a lung with a cold.
sj and beekaytee I hope y'all feel better soon I know how miserable that is.
I took a 6 month course of low level antibiotics to tackle my chronic UTIs and it helped a lot. I don't know if that would help either of you but maybe it's something to bring up with your doctor.

Me too, Andi, me too.
I'm challenging myself to eliminate some of the issues/elements that may be taxing my system.
FYI, I'm starting my program this week and will be practicing on myself first!
More exercise, less sugar can't hurt.
askye, that may be an option. I was on a low level antibiotic through most of my pregnancy because uti's can cause miscarriage, and I didn't want to take that risk.
Even with Tylenol and Motrin, I'm running a low fever and am in pain. I wish I had gotten some good pain meds.
sj I was UTI free for a year , which was exciting. But I've had 2 recently ..which doesn't surprise me considering the changes that happened. I'm going to call my urologist this week and make an appointment to ask to try the low dose antibiotic again.
Ugh sj, that sound pretty miserable
