You probably scared him, too, Anne. But that's no excuse for being a butthead. I'm sorry it upset you so.
Get the good drugs, sj. Kidney infections can be miserable.

Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

So painful, Beverly. But hopefully the drugs will help.
sj, that sounds miserable. I'm sorry you're dealing with this.

No it wasn't, especially as I stopped a good way back and he had to backtrack to yell at me. The good news is, I've calmed down by now, but yikes.
Oh dear, take care of yourself sj, I'm glad you are getting it treated. And Steph, yeah for getting treated, and for a doc kind enough to not want to default to the colonoscopy if it isn't needed.
My third this year, I think. I am so worn out.
Oh no, sj. What a misery.
It doesn't compare to a full on kidney infection, but I'm in the middle of my third uti in as many months. Blergh. So tedious and painful.
I also hate to be taking endless antibiotics. I've got to turn this health boat around.
sj and beekaytee, I'm concerned about your repeated infections. I hope you both can get yourselves built back up to strength so you don't keep having them. In the meantime, thank goodness for antibiotics.
Thanks, everyone.
WS, this is just part of life with SB. It isn't likely to stop happening anytime soon. It's just much more of a PITA when you have a toddler to look after, and you are already hacking up a lung with a cold.
sj and beekaytee I hope y'all feel better soon I know how miserable that is.
I took a 6 month course of low level antibiotics to tackle my chronic UTIs and it helped a lot. I don't know if that would help either of you but maybe it's something to bring up with your doctor.

Me too, Andi, me too.
I'm challenging myself to eliminate some of the issues/elements that may be taxing my system.
FYI, I'm starting my program this week and will be practicing on myself first!
More exercise, less sugar can't hurt.
askye, that may be an option. I was on a low level antibiotic through most of my pregnancy because uti's can cause miscarriage, and I didn't want to take that risk.
