Yesterday, my life's like, 'Uh-oh, pop quiz!' Today it's like, 'rain of toads.'

Spike's Bitches 49: As usual, I'm here to help you, and I... are you naked under there?

Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

She has already been adopted but isn't getting picked up until Thursday, so I'll just have her a quick bit.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I got a quote for getting a wheelchair lift for my car. It's more expensive than I'd expected, but I think it will help a lot, and it can be transferred easily to a new car when I get one (which is something I was concerned about, since my car is seven years old.) So, once they answer a few questions I had about it, I think I'll get it.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

It's been a whole year since Tim had his questionable results on his pulmonary function test (which the pulmonologist ultimately said aren't concerning to him because they're minor at best). This morning he's having follow-up pulmonary tests and a CT scan of his lungs to make sure that everything continues to be fine.

Could I get some normal-lung~ma for Tim, please? Or nothing-changed-from-last-year~ma? (And maybe, for me, some calm-your-ass-down~ma?)

And I have an appointment with a new gastroenterologist this afternoon. I'm hoping he'll actually listen to me. Though I'm reluctantly accepting that an endoscopy and colonoscopy are in my future.

Punishingly Intricate

Hope it all goes well, Steph.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Doctor~ma, Teppy.

I dropped off ltc for her second day of school today, and I'm at a cafe with a chai and a book!

I finished a book! And now I'm going to go pick her up and she is going to throw a tantrum about coming home with me.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Ugh - so, there is a local Moms FB group for my town, like there is everywhere. As soon as the new-school year letters go out, everyone posts who their kids teachers are so the parents can connect. So, like a good member of the community, I sent friend requests to the other moms in A's class. Realized belatedly that one is a fervent Trump supporter. (Thankfully, not someone I know personally, but ewwwwwwwwwwww. Unfriend unfriend unfriend!!)

Ugh, Jessica. Though, now the odds are high that A will become best friends with that person's kid cause life is cruel.

Cassie's (foster dog) adoptive family has pushed back picking her up again, so I have her one more night. She is a total love bug, so I don't mind. But she has issues with remembering to pee outside. I mean, she will pee outside, but 5 minutes later she will also pee inside. She hasn't pooped inside, so I'm not sure what is up.
