Meh. It's turned into such a huge circus that I kind of feel like it's better to avoid the whole mess. When I was getting free tickets, the expensive parking, expensive food, horrific crowds, interminable lines, etc., were acceptable. But to pay for tickets (with $ or time), plus deal with all that, eh, avoidance works for me. I'll look at some of the smaller cons. Thanks for the offer, though.
'A Hole in the World'
Spike's Bitches 49: As usual, I'm here to help you, and I... are you naked under there?
Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Cheers. The smaller cons are a better bet anyway. Heck, come to DC over Easter weekend next year and I'll set you up. Working on my crew is a lark. Free ticket and all the geeking out you can stand.
I'd love to come to DC over Easter next year, Con or no Con. The only "vacation" I've taken this year was to see family up in the Central Valley, which, believe me, was far from relaxing. So much more simpatico, so much less Fox News and casual racism, while visiting Buffistas. Add a Con, woo-hoo, it's Christmas in March/April!
It's usually beautiful here in April. And, since it is a holiday weekend, some touristy things will be less crowded.
I will need to have someone here taking care of Cagney since I work 15 hour days at the show, but I may have room for you to bunk down.
Volunteers get access in exchange for 2 four hour or one double shift. It's so fun, you might want to work more!
I will definitely keep it in mind and see whether circumstances allow!
Mom is staying in Florida until Sat. Going to the beach tomorrow. I'm trying to rearrange my room and also I want to bake. I'm cat vacuuming by cleaning the kitchen.
Also M has shifted to boyfriend. We have seen each other exclusively and a lot. I met some of his family Sunday. His brother has family and friends over for dinner every Sunday and he invited me. It was low key and nice .
ltc is turning two tomorrow, and we leave for vacation on Saturday! I'm not prepared for either of these things.
FWIW, 2 was a great age for my kids. The communication level grows by leaps and bounds and they just do so many things! But yeah, that was really a super quick 2 years!
Two! Unpossible. In fact, I'm pretty sure you're still pregnant (and VW, too).
Two is fun, though. They're really becoming little people then. My very favorite was usually four, though (and I think, knowing me, having potty-trained kids had something to do with it).
Congrats to M on getting an awesome girlfriend!
