Wash: So, two days in a hospital? That's awful. Don't you just hate doctors? Simon: Hey. Wash: I mean, present company excluded. Jayne: Let's not be excluding people. That'd be rude.

'Ariel'

Spike's Bitches 49: As usual, I'm here to help you, and I... are you naked under there?

Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

askye, it's great that you are finally learning to believe in what others see about you. I've had a similar breakthrough, myself. I think it's part of why I'm able to start my own company.

Seriously, that's a really great thing! For both of you! askye, you've been making progress and not giving up, and that's hard shit you're working through. It makes you a badass. And smonster, starting your own company is leveling up in a MAJOR way, but you really do have the skills and experience to offer a high-quality service that people need. And that makes YOU a badass.

I think it should go without saying that breaking a leg in Iceland is Automatic Badass Status.

Frankly, we are all badasses in our own way. Unless you don't want to be a badass, in which case you don't need to claim that status. You can just be you, and you'll still be my people, badass or no.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

This badass can't sleep because her foot hurts. I'm maxed out on painkillers til morning.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

My wheelchair was delivered today, but the battery wasn't. The shipment tracker thing says the battery should get here tomorrow, so I can actually try it out then. For now, I tried sitting in it, and I think I'm going to need to add an extra cushion to the back, but I think it will work out.

Thrive to spite them

Hil, sorry the battery is sent separately. I hope that it really works well for you.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Steph says what I wish I had thought to say. Smonster and askye, I am kind of overwhelmed by how proud I am of both of you.

Zen, I hope your weariness soon overtakes the pain so you can have the release of sleep.

I don't know why I am suprised that the battery did not come in the same package as the wheelchair, Hil. But I hope there are no more delays and it works well for you.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Aww, thanks, y'all.

Hil, I really hope this chair works out for you and lets you do more things with less pain.

Speaking of pain, Zen, I hope you get relief and can sleep soon.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Steph is wise.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Getting ready for the flight home! The insurance company is paying not only for my upgraded seat but also for Jenny to fly with me.

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

Good flight, Zen. I hope everyone takes great care of you.

Apparently I do not sleep well on Percocet at all. Couldn't get to sleep, and then I was up at 4:30. I have to go for blood work at 11, so today's going to be fun.

Our wings are not tired.

The insurance company is paying not only for my upgraded seat but also for Jenny to fly with me.

Wow, go insurance company. (words I thought I would never say) May the trip home be smooth and uneventful.

Dana, I hope there are nap opportunities aplenty today.
