Willow: Something evil-crashed to earth in this. Then it broke out and slithered away to do badness. Giles: Well, in all fairness, we don't really know about the "slithered" part. Anya: No, no, I'm sure it frisked about like a fluffy lamb.

'Never Leave Me'

Spike's Bitches 49: As usual, I'm here to help you, and I... are you naked under there?

Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Our wings are not tired.

The insurance company is paying not only for my upgraded seat but also for Jenny to fly with me.

Wow, go insurance company. (words I thought I would never say) May the trip home be smooth and uneventful.

Dana, I hope there are nap opportunities aplenty today.

hip deep in pie

Getting ready for the flight home! The insurance company is paying not only for my upgraded seat but also for Jenny to fly with me.

Amazing! Safe travels Zen.

Our wings are not tired.

So my son might go to work for Tesla. His GF has worked there for years and her boss randomly asked her if he might be interested because he thought he would be a good fit. We all talked about it at length because DH and I have worked together for 29 years and know the obstacles. She said she would not have considered it if she didn't know him to be so responsible and reliable and that she agreed with her boss that he would be great there.

He is still a student, but would shift to evening or virtual classes. Who knows. My bottom line is that this may double my chances of ending up with a nice pre-owned Tesla with 2 of them watching for me. He really is a good fit anywhere. So interesting.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

TESLA. Hell yeah.

We're in the fancy business lounge at Icelandair waiting for our flight. It looks like the insurance company bought us *3* first class tickets.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Laura, that sounds very cool! And how flattering that he was pretty much recruited.

Zen, I'm so glad that at least you are being well taken care of during all this mess.

Dana, that sucks! I wish pain meds didn't have such terrible side effects.

Just saw my therapist for the first time in a month. I love her. She helps keep my rambling on track and choose the important skills I need to work on. Now off to pick up my helpers and go to the shop.

No bloodwork for me! I can't drive myself because it's too painful to sit. I probably should have realized this, but I guess I didn't want to think about it. Now I'm going to have to ask my poor husband to miss more work.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Laura, that's awesome.

Dana, I'm sorry.

Zen, I hope you have easy trip home. I'm glad the insurance company is taking good care of you.

I think ltc has inherited her daddy's appetite. She asked for more dinner twice last night. And more breakfast three times, although I cut her off at three portions of oatmeal. And then still asked for seconds at lunch. I'm amazed.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Do you have a third person with you? Or you, your sister, and your leg?

I think ltc has inherited her daddy's appetite.

Sounds like a growth spurt is on its way. Is she sleeping more than normal? With my kids that was usually the next step and then grow, grow, grow.

Work is busy but I've hit brain melt and an taking an internet break to see if that helps. Kinda like a brain reset.

Ugh, I remember how shitty that is. I'm glad the surgery was scheduled so quickly so that you don't have to deal with this pain for much longer.

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

I don't know if anyone is good at this loss of independence, but I'm definitely not happy with it. Pretty much the only thing I can do is either lie on the couch or lie on the bed. (Actually, I guess I'm pretty good with that part.)

But needing my husband to get me things, to do all of the chores, to run the errands -- it's getting really old. For him too, I'm sure.
