How in God's name is Rick Perry doing something right?
Playing the long game of being in opposition to Trump so he looks good after Trump goes down?

Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I'm not convinced he can spell "long game", let alone play one.
Weirdly enough, Texas has actually embraced wind power so this doesn't actually surprise me that much. It's not an environmental thing, more that they saw a cash cow that trumped Oil Uber Alles. The environmental impact is just an unfortunate side effect.
Zen - that is terrible. . . and I just imagine that Icelandic medicine is better than the average USian experience.
Also - Chicago posted the climate change stuff that the EPA had to take down on it's website. Have other cities done something similar?

Pretty sure he can spell "screw you, Trump," though. I suspect it's more about that than any great environmental awakening.
CJ and I were in my credit union, which is in my office building, to get him a new debit card. We ran into my great, great, grand-boss. I introduced CJ to F and he said some of the kindest words about me and my role in the company. That was a couple of hours ago and I'm still blushing.
Nice to have your awesomeness recognized!
This feels so weird to type, but go Rick Perry!
askye, it's great that you are finally learning to believe in what others see about you. I've had a similar breakthrough, myself. I think it's part of why I'm able to start my own company.
Yay Suzi! You are a badass and he knows it.
I had a good day. Long and sweaty and tough, but good. Still need to do an hour or so of work tonight, but right now I'm relaxing with two eps of Blackish and mezcal in Blood Orange Soda.
That is lovely, Suzi.

Seriously, that's a really great thing! For both of you! askye, you've been making progress and not giving up, and that's hard shit you're working through. It makes you a badass. And smonster, starting your own company is leveling up in a MAJOR way, but you really do have the skills and experience to offer a high-quality service that people need. And that makes YOU a badass.
I think it should go without saying that breaking a leg in Iceland is Automatic Badass Status.
Frankly, we are all badasses in our own way. Unless you don't want to be a badass, in which case you don't need to claim that status. You can just be you, and you'll still be my people, badass or no.
