Well, then, this is a day I'll feel good to be me.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

We did something like that a few times in my office. I managed to stump them completely with (1) I was once interviewed on Entertainment Tonight and (2) my first job was being the Easter Bunny (both true).

brillig

Is anyone else familiar with the online comic 9 Chickweed Lane?

[link]

I've been re-reading it, and I hit the section where the mad New England farmer is writing advice for the rest of the cast, and it's wonderfully funny and touching and I want to post all of this segment to Facebook, but half the comedy is in knowing these characters (as with the best comedy).

It's chock full of dance and music and longing and passion and family dynamics, and I love it. Oh, and cats.

Nice, Toddson.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Oh, shrift, what about the job interview at Playboy? Or have you already broken out that story?

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I never have something interesting. My boss says I should use the fact that my middle name (which I use) is actually not really my legal name. That seems weird to describe. But any sort of weird thing that I am OK with people at work knowing about me, someone already knows or could guess easily. Possibly the only thing that might shock someone (since I am a secretary) is my SAT score or my college GPA, but that just seems weird.

Our wings are not tired.

I would not pass up an opportunity to brag about my GPA. The least all that work should do for me is give me bragging rights forever. Actually, that is all it was good for!

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

There's pizza leftover from a meeting and I am not having any because Passover. It smells really good.

I literally just told that to one of my newbies in the last week, otherwise I would have used that. I decided to go with one very boring fact (I've never had a dental cavity) and that I like to try climbing volcanoes in the Pacific Ring of Fire.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Never had to do the two-truths-and-a-lie thing. Not that I have a lot of odd-but-true things to use...

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

My truths are usually the walking home after falling off the face of a cliff, and walking across the top of a waterfall in February.
