Mostly the former. I mean, I'm not a lock if the opening is approved (although there are a couple of people rooting for me, which is nice), but if it isn't then it doesn't much matter.

I just purchased Deadpool on DVD and arrived home to discover that it's still in the security clamshell. Do I have to go back to the store or will a hammer do?

That was much easier than I expected. Didn't even need a hammer, just pliers. I'm glad I didn't put shoes on and go back out for that.
