Congratulations, Debet!
Brenda, safe travels, and I want to hear all about it when you get back!
I'm not sure what I'm doing this weekend, aside from doing yoga and catching up on my Stanford class. I've totally failed at doing coursework this week.
I'm off to Tahoe super early Monday morning and I've never been, so that should be exciting.
I had leftover tater tots! My mood is improved.
I had leftover tater tots!
...and now I know what dinner will be. Dana, you are my hero.
Hey, I bet I could buy some tots from the grocery store...
Tater tots sound awesome. So does winery and test drive.
Congrats Debet!
I AM WATCHING FIONA THE BABY HIPPO!!!!!!
Returning home. At airport and flight leaves in about 30 min. I plan to sleep on the plan and spend the rest of the day cleaning all of the things with possible trips to thrift stores and half price books. My goal by the end of the month is get a significant amount of stuff out including some furniture. I am thing all of the entertainment center except the tv stand, a recliner or two, and at least two side tables.
Dog is having a marvelous time with the toy that gives her treats if she rolls it, although she keeps getting it stuck under the furniture and then barking at it.
This is the car I'm thinking of:

It's a hybrid, gets really good mileage, but isn't a Prius. I don't have anything against Prii, and if I don't get this one, I'll probably get a lightly used Prius. But this is sufficiently cheap I can get a brand new one if I like (my first, probably only, ever new car). And it has better clearance than a Prius. The plug-ins are nice but their batteries are bigger and they have less storage as a result.
... I've been thinking a LOT about this: I have a spreadsheet with my car analysis on it. Thank god for Consumer Reports.
But I won't get the car yet, because I'm waiting until Dad's taxes are done and we know how much is left in the estate. Still so many fiddly little things to do.
