Gunn: Well, how horrible is this thing? Lorne: I haven't read the Book of Revelations lately, but if I was searching for adjectives, I'd probably start there.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Dog is having a marvelous time with the toy that gives her treats if she rolls it, although she keeps getting it stuck under the furniture and then barking at it.

This is the car I'm thinking of:

>[link]

It's a hybrid, gets really good mileage, but isn't a Prius. I don't have anything against Prii, and if I don't get this one, I'll probably get a lightly used Prius. But this is sufficiently cheap I can get a brand new one if I like (my first, probably only, ever new car). And it has better clearance than a Prius. The plug-ins are nice but their batteries are bigger and they have less storage as a result.

... I've been thinking a LOT about this: I have a spreadsheet with my car analysis on it. Thank god for Consumer Reports.

But I won't get the car yet, because I'm waiting until Dad's taxes are done and we know how much is left in the estate. Still so many fiddly little things to do.

Got my extra paycheck (I get three this month) and my federal refund deposited today, and found out afterward my state refund had arrived. It's nice to be briefly solvent, at least until the bill for the new dishwasher comes due.

not your mom's socks.

I am not dealing well with how mad I am right now about some things.

Oh, right. I meant to rage-donate to Meals on Wheels. I guess I'll do that now.

I watching French Quarter webcams. The streets are filling up with people in green t-shirts and weird headgear. The pack of Segway riders was amusing. Webcams are such a gift for my voyeuristic tendencies.

But those poor drivers trying to make their way through the French Quarter. I wonder how many fantasize about tunning over oblivious tourists.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I feel like we all should know that the Gay and Lesbian Kingdom of the Coral Sea Islands is at war with Australia. I am not making this up.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I also feel like I'm super-talkative today.

That said, for Steph: [link]
