Returning home. At airport and flight leaves in about 30 min. I plan to sleep on the plan and spend the rest of the day cleaning all of the things with possible trips to thrift stores and half price books. My goal by the end of the month is get a significant amount of stuff out including some furniture. I am thing all of the entertainment center except the tv stand, a recliner or two, and at least two side tables.

But this is sufficiently cheap I can get a brand new one if I like (my first, probably only, ever new car). And it has better clearance than a Prius. The plug-ins are nice but their batteries are bigger and they have less storage as a result.
... I've been thinking a LOT about this: I have a spreadsheet with my car analysis on it. Thank god for Consumer Reports.
But I won't get the car yet, because I'm waiting until Dad's taxes are done and we know how much is left in the estate. Still so many fiddly little things to do.

Got my extra paycheck (I get three this month) and my federal refund deposited today, and found out afterward my state refund had arrived. It's nice to be briefly solvent, at least until the bill for the new dishwasher comes due.
