I'm jealous of anyone with any kind of drawer. I have nothing, just a blank space that gets disgustingly dirty. I really liked having the broiler.

Yes, or you can warm up plates in it, like restaurants do (which is why they often caution you that your plate is hot. The food cools slower if the plate is warmed.)

I think you can also keep cooked food warm in it while other things cook in the oven. We don't have one, just a storage drawer, which we definitely need in our teeny kitchen.
