That commute would definitely kill me. An hour is too long IMO.

Brooklyn to New Jersey was over an hour too, and even the closer office took 3 trains. I haven't had a commute under an hour in 13 years.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.
Mine used to be 45 minutes each way, but has expanded to an hour. Thank God for podcasts and satellite radio.

That, of course, is mitigated by the fact that I have therapy most weekdays, which is 45 minutes each way.

I haven't had a commute that involves public transit since I lived in Philly. I didn't mind that at all.
Working at home now, but my last office involved a 45 minute road trip, but it was along A1A so the ocean soothed my day in both directions. I will double my commute time before I drive on the highway during congested hours. Part of my de-stress plan.
