Mine used to be 45 minutes each way, but has expanded to an hour. Thank God for podcasts and satellite radio.

My job is five blocks from my home.
That, of course, is mitigated by the fact that I have therapy most weekdays, which is 45 minutes each way.
I haven't had a commute that involves public transit since I lived in Philly. I didn't mind that at all.
Working at home now, but my last office involved a 45 minute road trip, but it was along A1A so the ocean soothed my day in both directions. I will double my commute time before I drive on the highway during congested hours. Part of my de-stress plan.
My commute would be half what it is if I were willing to drive the freeway.

Two days a week my commute is going downstairs. The others it is 55 miles.
Lots of them in Florida, Laura. I'm sure Zoe would love a little BFF.
One of the my rescues (ie, where I volunteer, donate or follow) has a puppy this year. Foster, a Bernese baby from One Tail at a Time.

God, I would love a Bernese. (My 2nd favourite dog breed.) But no other pets while Oz is around.
Did I mention he's been diagnosed with asthma? We just got the kitty inhaler, and even though I'm starting with the mask and trying to introduce it during play...he knows. I filled it with catnip, put it front him. He backed away from it and gave me a look that said, "WTF is that!?!"
