Sue, Strix, I'm sorry. None of that is good.

I'm whiny as fuck trying to adjust to my temporary limitations. It's probably crazy I've done 9+ miles walking fast in the last 3 days (not sure of the track size, assuming quarter mile or more based on times) but also crazy I'm on 15 dozen cookies and had to talk myself outta another 5 outloud tonight. I get the swimming prohibition, I'm just a week out with 4 incisions that itch and ache deep into insides and I need to let the derma heal, but damnit I MISS THE STRETCH AND THE STROKE AND THE PULL AND THE RHYTHM AND THE ZEN AND THE WATER FLOWING PAST ME AND EVEN THE CHLORINE.

I'm afraid the older sites I know are likely to have a lot of dead links.

However if she finds something she likes on AO3, she can backtrack to the author's other work, or look at the author's bookmarks.

Driven batty. I haven't even needed Advil since weds or thurs. (ETA:I actually don't want to eat any of these cookies. Maybe 1. I like baking cookies about 10k more than I actually like eating cookies. It's odd.)

I really hope my surgeon takes off the steristrips on weds. Incisions itch but those things do too. Starting to catch on everything.

I paid my water bill. yay not missing that again. then went and checked my gas bill, yep - 2 months late on that.

My dad had to take my mom to the ER again today. Her potassium is getting so low it's causing chest and abdomen pain. They've admitted her for tonight.

I was planning to drive home tomorrow anyway.
