I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

The exciting thing is that I can go to urgent care, which won't cost me anything right now, and try to get them to give me a prescription. Which will also not cost me. So, yay? Glad the end of the world coincided with my year of high health costs?

It's really Rick Perry that pushed me over the edge today, I think. RICK PERRY. For the fucking DOE.

If you had to pick only one, would you donate to the SPLC or the ACLU? I'm lining up my end-of-year donations, and I can't choose between the 2, but really can only donate to 1 of them.

End of year donations are being matched for SPLC up to $800,000 so your donation would go farther. Plus you can claim it on your taxes, which you can't do for the ACLU unless you donate to the ACLU Foundation, which is its 501(c)(3) arm.

ACLU got a record-breaking influx of donations post-election, so maybe go with SPLC.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yeah, I just saw that and also started getting a headache. Oops. I am excited for you that you can go to urgent care for free, though!

I look more rad than Lutheranism

SPLC it is! I like when my donations get matched.

brillig

I filled out the form for a passport, and they wanted my parents' info and Hubby's info, even though I marked that I was a widow. I figured they'd be content with my SSN.

In good news, I'm getting a small raise, a bonus, and more stock.

Because books.

I just want to cry. I worked 7 am to 4 pm today, with no lunch break (we never get one), and Sara's chorus concert is tonight, plus I have to finish a freelance assignment. Then I get to work 7 to 2 tomorrow. Andmy boss is being aggressively awful, and then I try to think about the world and my brain goes, "Too much! Stop!"

I need kittens. And maybe cupcakes. And a nap.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Yay raise and bonus! Boo headache. Yay free treatment.

{{{Amy}}} Kittens,cupcakes, and a nap sounds excellent.

I filled out the form for a passport, and they wanted my parents' info and Hubby's info, even though I marked that I was a widow.

Really? Huh. I wonder if I had to give them that information at some point. It's not on the renewal form. And I'm widowed since my last renewal, but no name change, so, huh.

I suppose it might be all right for me to mail in my passport now that I have a temporary DL to augment my expired license, but I think I will wait until I have the real thing. Does it matter if I mail the renewal a few days after the expiration date? Flea, do you know?

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I will join Amy with a cry. I start feeling sick around 4 because I do not want to go home from work most days.

Today Mac would not get ready in time for school so I left and he was to catch the bus 15 min later. He did not. I went home at 10:30 to check and he was in bed. I've already received a warning letter about truancy and I think with 1 - 2 more unexcused absences, I can be fined. Seriously. Either late for work or truant kid, those are my choices.

But I have to go home because we need to clean up glass from a broken window. It seems last month sometime when he was mad at me (I told him he would have to be more specific since that was every day), he threw a Lysol can in his room and broke the window. He did not tell me, he did not clean it up IN ANY WAY, and there is a basketball size hole.
