It's all about choices, Faith. The ones we make, and the ones we don't. Oh, and the consequences. Those are always fun.

Given the highly visible technical snafus LAUSD has perpetrated over the years, I wouldn't blame you for keeping an old school faux-green-leather grade book.

Kat, did your school recently upgrade to a new version of Sakai? Because that happened to another school I know of, who happened to upgrade at the beginning of this semester. The courses were not visible, but they weren't gone and tech support was able to get everything back.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

So possibly a record-breaking pleasant visit to the DMV.

That's awesome.

And now I'm fading again, without drugs. Naaaaap.

Calli, nope. And to make it even better, my friend at another LAUSD school site who didn't use this LMS last year but has it this year has her courses available.

Sleep, sara! It's good for healing.

Napping is key.

I'm pretty sure someone posted on my local Nextdoor site about a lost cat and then found the cat in a cupboard. So that's good times.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

If you had to pick only one, would you donate to the SPLC or the ACLU? I'm lining up my end-of-year donations, and I can't choose between the 2, but really can only donate to 1 of them.

Relatedly, starting today, donations to Planned Parenthood are being matched up to $300,000. In case anyone was thinking of donating.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

My head's been hurting for a few days. I don't know if it's an actual migraine, or if I'm literally bringing it on myself by stressing about, you know, everything.

I'd do SPLC because I think ACLU is higher-profile?

I just found out I can't get reimbursed for the staff appreciation money I've spent in the last couple of months. Oops. It's fair, and they told us, but I forgot! So now I'm out of pocket.
