Do you have a heel cushion for the tendinitis, aurelia? I was dubious when Kaiser gave me one, but it does seem to help.
I don't. I am wearing a neoprene ankle support and that little bit of compression seems to help until I try to walk with my normal stride. It mostly seems to do with how much I'm flexing/pushing off with that foot. Which is also the foot that I damaged half a lifetime ago such that the first two toes don't flex which makes pushing off different anyway. I probably need to see a PT. Ugh.
What they have me is like a wedge, and it's not instantly comfortable, but after about a week of having it in my shoe I can walk pretty much normally. PT is a good idea with the toes and all.
But it's good to read words from people like you. Keep it up.
Gris speaks for me in this. (Hi, Gris!)
Thanks for being here, friends.
Hi Karl.
I am feeling the decision to stay up late clicking random things on the internet. Uggh, poor decisions.
Is this already-made potato salad? Is it a mustard-based potato salad or what? I don't know how my preferred potato salad would react to being in a salad.
It's mayonnaise/mustard dressing, Ina Garten's recipe if you want details. The internet suggested that a pre-cooked potato already soaked in fat and flavor would roast well, and they do! I didn't want to turn on the oven, but that would have been easier.
Mm, that sounds good. Flavorful fried potatoes, yum.
Finished packing with literally minutes to spare. Half an hour even! Now waiting for my train.
I can't say the polling place was crowded this morning, but it was by far the busiest I've seen it for a primary.
I hope that's the start of a good trend, Tom.
My polling place wasn't crowded, but then our district isn't that big so it never is.
The final word on the tuna/cinnamon bagel thing is that when my husband got home, he said he didn't see the problem with tuna salad on a cinnamon bagel, so I guess I'm married to the next governor of New York.
