Sorry, Scrappy. I'm sure they know that 7th graders are literal demons from hell.

Um, resolutely not extending sympathy, Jesse.
Stephanie, I am so honored to be part of a group that you would think of after such a vistory!. Always good to see your pixels!
I don't even know with temperature. I feel like personal thermostat has been wonky for way longer than menopause. I compensate by never knowing what the actual temperature is and assuming my subjective experience is accurate. This makes hot flashes more confusing, probably, but not worrisome.
My blood pressure was good on the first check. That never happens! The exam room was all darkened with soft music and aromatherapy of some sort and the nurse or BP specialist had me do some deep breathing before she started the cuff. I guess that all worked?
Aw, man, Scrappy. I hope the behavior consultant can help. I really doubt that you are the only teacher these kids have been loud for.
1 I am always hot and seem to always be hot. I think it is a side effect of my antidepressant, but now that peri menopause is here I am just hot. Consistently
2. scrappy that sounds crappy
3. Stephanie I love seeing you post about immigration issues on Facebook. So informed.
4. I just convinced myself my cat died of heatstroke in my apartment and I couldn't find her. Luckily, she appeared after several hours when I decided to take a bath. I am happy, but where was she!?!?!
Timelies all!
As for menopause, I haven't hit it yet.(I don't think I'm even in perimenopause yet, and I'm 50. Huh?)
Mr. S woke up in the middle of the night, and wouldn't go back to sleep for a few hours. Sleep's overrated, right?
I really doubt that you are the only teacher these kids have been loud for.
Yeah, agreed. If nothing else, the proof is in the pudding of your other classes! Good luck though, Scrappy. You can doo eet!
Um, resolutely not extending sympathy, Jesse.
Thanks.
Went through menopause at 45, ridiculously early for my family. I may be the only natural one of my 5 sisters only the youngest and I still have uteri.
Still have hot flashes at almost 63. Not typical. I rarely feel cold. I still keep ice water and a fan always near and crank my a.c. to frost levels to sleep.
I'm no help, am i?
I guess that all worked?
I get called in from the waiting room, walked down the hallway, directed to a chair, and the nurse puts the cuff on straightaway. I'm already anticipating bad numbers, so I'm not very relaxed. And the cuff always hurts.
I am always cold. Frisco, my son, now 10, is always hot. I'm convinced it's something about him biologically because he's very skinny and always hot.
Today I saw the nurse practitioner at my regular doctor's office. She was gobsmacked when she saw the x-ray of my leg. She gave me a prescription for all the painkillers she was allowed to prescribe, and recommended a surgeon. It happened to be the same surgeon two of my often injured karate friends recommended, so I'm going with him. Also he's at the hospital complex 10 minutes from my house so that's excellent.
