Right?! The application asked what experience I had with social media. I said I'd been on some form of social media (Usenet counts, dammit) since 1995, and then I told them my followers count across the four platforms I'm most active on. I will honestly be stunned if they don't contact me.

Aaaand that's all I've got. The rehearsal and wedding went well, no more than the usual number of emergencies. Then a ball game yesterday that was such a good game I didn't even mind (too much) that my boys lost. So, excellent times were had. But I am now SO TIRED. Should have known better and taken today off, but I didn't want to since I had to take Friday for the rehearsal. Oh well, live and learn. Zzzzzz...

I've been working on getting my classes all set up for the semester. I'm stuck in the middle of ridiculousness with putting captions on my class videos. We all had to take a seminar about online accessibility, which included telling us that all our videos MUST be captioned. And I agree! Videos should be captioned! So, I try to put captions on my videos. It turns out that there's no way for me to access the captioning system unless one of my students has a disability form which specifically requires captions as an accommodation. There are a couple of work-arounds, but they all include downloading and uploading the videos several times each, which I totally don't have time to do when I've got around 10-15 videos per week altogether.
