Yay Atropa! And Miss Erzabet (no biting)
Natter 75: More Than a Million Natters Served
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Yay, Miss Erzabet!
The rehearsal and wedding went well
I saw some pictures you were tagged in on FB -- that dress looked so good on you!
I've been working on getting my classes all set up for the semester. I'm stuck in the middle of ridiculousness with putting captions on my class videos. We all had to take a seminar about online accessibility, which included telling us that all our videos MUST be captioned. And I agree! Videos should be captioned! So, I try to put captions on my videos. It turns out that there's no way for me to access the captioning system unless one of my students has a disability form which specifically requires captions as an accommodation. There are a couple of work-arounds, but they all include downloading and uploading the videos several times each, which I totally don't have time to do when I've got around 10-15 videos per week altogether.
(well, Gary and I go to work, Mr. S goes to daycare)
Slacker. (Mr. S. Not you and Gary)
Seriously. I can only imagine someone getting your application and going, "wait, we could get her ????"
Right?! I'll bet there was squee-ing.
For those who need an adorable kitty break, I posted a short video of Miss Erzabet No Biting over on FB.
Skipping more than a bit
Hil, that's frustrating.
Meanwhile, at work: I was assigned cataloging items in Persian and in Judeo-Persian. I know neither. And I have questions.
In theory, today is the rescheduled machine learning webinar. So far...the webinar has not started.
Ha, my coworker pinged me just as I was about to ping her, since we were both paranoid that something was wrong with our connection. Nope, they were just starting several minutes late.
I have my last supply chain mgmt class today and I have actually done the reading! By skipping the, um, 5 sections I managed to get behind, but still, ready for discussion of physical distribution and continuous improvement.
I would say the word Quality has lost all meaning but I'm not altogether certain it had much to begin with.
