I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Oh, good, my coworker has decided that now is the optimal time to push back on something our manager has asked us to do. Yes, after an hour-long 7AM meeting, we all want to listen to you whine.

Fuck it indeed. I'm so sorry this is hitting so close to him Maria. Give him the support from his imaginary yet unknown friends in the box.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Fuck toxic masculinity.

Yes.

Because books.

Fuck toxic masculinity.

Yup.

Just read a Kirkus review of a new novel/thriller that tackles this: [link] Our Kind of Cruelty, by Araminta Hall.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

All the cupcake ATMs I am aware of are too far away from me.

Coding and Sleeping

So I have a second Twitter account which is my right-wing account. Basically, I followed some Fox News stuff and a some people who commented on that stuff in a right-wing way and added some more people Twitter suggested. I don't know if I'd call it a sock puppet account since I don't tweet, reply, like or do anything but read. It's interesting to see reactions from people who on the other side of the political spectrum on the summit with Russia. The bit topic is that HRC got $400 million dollars from the Russians, Trump did nothing wrong at the summit, the intelligence agencies can't be trusted, and what Obama being a traitor for what he did with Iran. Aside from maybe one or two Fox News tweets, no disappointment in Trump at all.

Yep, the local political forum that I check out is the same. Basically, they trust Putin more than the media. Really sad, really.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Wow, Maria. That seems like a horrible thing for your SO to deal with. Sending good vibes.

Re: my long lost family- I know it happens to many people, but I had stuff up there for years so I didn't want people who were thinking about doing DNA testing to think that a) you would necessarily find a lot of close relative or b) that those relatives would answer you if you reached out. I had sort of given up and then it happened out of the blue. I think it happens more often on Ancestry than 23.

I think I have now texted back and forth with this family more than my entire known family combined. Possibly because my match is in her early 30's, so she is relaying questions.
