Gud, if you can't afford a therapist (although some therapists charge a sliding scale based on ability to pay), please at least think about a support group. The National Alliance on Mental Illness and Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance both sponsor support groups. No cost to attend. I attend groups sponsored by both organizations, and they've helped my recovery a great deal.
