Ann, that's a ferret.

I'm having trouble with the concept of "potato pie." Unless they're thinking of a shepherd's pie, in which case, yes, please.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm still traumatized by the flying...let's say waterbug? I encountered in my friend's house 10+ years ago.

I am also confident that potatoes can handle any amount of butter you might throw at them, in any format.

I'm sorry your weekend was crappy, meara, and hope you have easy travel, Kat.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Bugs should not fly inside. Ever.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

That's a good rule. How do we get buy in from the bug population?

I have neither potatoes nor butter. Sad.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I am ignoring the bug conversation.

Camp is the best thing ever. I'm currently enjoying a chai while it's still hot.

Because books.

They were called palmetto bugs in Florida when I lived there. I just called them roaches with wings. It was pretty cool when gekkos got inside and lived on the ceiling, though.

Here in the South I'm pretty sure there's no such thing as too much butter. It was the primary ingredient of Elvis' diet!

Our wings are not tired.

Camp is the best thing ever. I'm currently enjoying a chai while it's still hot.

Wonderful!

Epic tantrum about leaving camp, including hitting the teacher. Bah.
