They were called palmetto bugs in Florida when I lived there. I just called them roaches with wings. It was pretty cool when gekkos got inside and lived on the ceiling, though.

Thanks, I'm embarrassed. ltc isn't used to someone picking her up when she's not listening. I physically can't so no one around me does either. Which doesn't justify hitting.
I'm sure this is no consolation at the moment, but this feels like just the right time for ltc to be learning this stuff.
In other news, my team went out for an extended picnic lunch, and it was glorious, but how am I supposed to keep working now??
