I'm going to see to Wesley, see if he's still whimpering.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I got eight hours straight sleep for two nights in a row. And I love EVERYONE in this BAR!

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

My DH was diagnosed with diabetes a couple of weeks ago and, since I basically eat what he eats, plus more candy, I went in to be tested last week. I was CONVINCED I must also have it. Got the results and I am fine! Also had good cholesterol, which was another pleasant surprise. On top of that, I may have a job interview on Tuesday. So, Friday was a good day in Scrappyland.

Our wings are not tired.

Excellent! Both Calli's sleep and Scrappy's blood!

I am looking forward to hearing about the agility event, Consuela.

Taking a momentary break from the cooking and cleaning. Really want to nap, but that's not happening.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Today's agility class was cancelled, so I'm actually doing things around the house. ...

I look more rad than Lutheranism

The pub's webcam also has a webcam set up outside: [link] and we've been watching it for the last half hour like it's TV. We've seen like 7 bachelorette parties in 30 minutes.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I went to the big downtown multiplex this morning, and man, I am reminded why I don't usually go there. Everything is a zillion dollars (but I had a free pass and also some money on a gift card), they don't have the reclining seats, the previews were terrible and took forever, AND the popcorn and soda weren't as good as at either of my more local independent places.

But you know, I still like being at the movies more than not being at the movies.

So I'm down inColumbia & there's a huge storm in Baltimore. Reports of 3 people maybe struck by lightning in Patterson Park. Yikes.

I want to go see Oceans 8 but we are in Sacramento for pride weekend and no time.

Now if only my stupid headache would go away—I haven't even been in the sun yet and that usually makes it WORSE.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Yikes!

Last year I walked as part of the Lyft contingent in Boston's Pride parade, but this year I have to make money, so I drove this morning. As lovely as group of passengers as I've ever had, including a woman who was visiting Boston for her 55th MIT reunion.

Heard it was an adult & two kids, in serious condition. By the time I got back, clear skies.

So the salon will not be reopening on Main St. In fact, the owner may not reopen the location at all (she has another in Havre de Grace.) She's pondering a bunch of options, including semi-retirement (she's in her sixties, I think) & going in with just Alison in a small salon. But Alison is doing some pondering too. She got engaged last night!! She's selling her house in Westminster & moving over to Parkville, near me. So she's thinking of exploring other paths too (still staying in the business,) just to the north. Decisions are months out. Anyway, I'll follow her wherever.

And lisah, I mentioned Fringe to her.
