I want to go see Oceans 8 but we are in Sacramento for pride weekend and no time.
Now if only my stupid headache would go away—I haven't even been in the sun yet and that usually makes it WORSE.

Yikes!
Last year I walked as part of the Lyft contingent in Boston's Pride parade, but this year I have to make money, so I drove this morning. As lovely as group of passengers as I've ever had, including a woman who was visiting Boston for her 55th MIT reunion.
Heard it was an adult & two kids, in serious condition. By the time I got back, clear skies.
So the salon will not be reopening on Main St. In fact, the owner may not reopen the location at all (she has another in Havre de Grace.) She's pondering a bunch of options, including semi-retirement (she's in her sixties, I think) & going in with just Alison in a small salon. But Alison is doing some pondering too. She got engaged last night!! She's selling her house in Westminster & moving over to Parkville, near me. So she's thinking of exploring other paths too (still staying in the business,) just to the north. Decisions are months out. Anyway, I'll follow her wherever.
And lisah, I mentioned Fringe to her.
Tep, I clicked on that webcam link just in time to watch a horse and buggy trot into frame. Dublin is awesome.
Went and saw Oceans 8 with a big group of female friends last night and had a total blast. It's light and frothy and fun and all female-gaze.
ION, I have 4-6 weeks to finish all of my MA research and professional project and defense and am trying not to be entirely daunted by it.

Good! They are expanding and looking for new stylists.
Yup. Might not be on her timescale, but couldn't hurt to mention.
Timelies all!
Our dance group had a gig at the Maryland Faerie Festival. Went pretty well, and we were able to find someone to look after Mr. S, as I was needed to dance pretty much every dance, and Gary plays guitar for the group.
I will admit, the fact that we were leaving our child at Unseelie Court did give me pause.(Although, if they replaced Mr. S with a changeling, I'm not sure we'd know the difference. :) )
So far I have not won enough to fund or partially fund Buffista Island . M won a $350ish jackpot and my biggest was $135. Right now I'm a little over what I brought.
We were sitting next to someone who won $16,000. And I saw someone else who was getting a receipt from the staff and then was on the phone. Not sure how much he won.
The buffet was ok. The hotel Jacuzzi tub was fun. M made sure we brought bubble bath so lots of bubbles.
Now we are chilling in the hotel. I was getting a little overwhelmed with the sounds so we called it a night.
Woo! Got a prompt & resonable response from a junk hauler, in Waverly even. So I can get rid of some stuff, like my old loveseat.
Which, fuck, means I'll need to shake it out for cattoys & who knows what. & make my basement accessible. Which currently contains a shitload of cardboard from the litter box enclosure that arrived after recycling day.
More than a year after he died, my father started receiving new issues of Discover magazine. WTF, people.
