I apparently use 10-key pads more than phone dials. I keep hitting 3 when I mean 9 entering this access code on the phone.

You'd think the 10-pad people and hte phone people could get together on this. The phone arrangement makes more sense.
I think we're undergoing a slow-mo Civil War.
I'm still Team Cap.
(Yeah, I know, but that's the only modern Civil War I will recognize, because the prospect of a real one is horrifying. So... #TeamCap.)
Ugh. Have three new employees on a project. One is so far really not impressing me. He has to fly somewhere and train people there. I gave him a heads up via creenshot, before he could access our internal systems, that there were four locations there—training only happens at one but he has to go to the other three also, briefly. He booked to leave the city at 4:20pm. I was like "do you think you'll have time to do the training AND go to the other locations?" And he said "well they're all in [city]". ...they are not. They're each 45 minutes to an hour from the main location , in different directions. Ugh. This man has been at the company almost 20 years. He ought to be on point.
The phone arrangement makes more sense.
But the 10-key arrangement is what I have muscle memory for. Sense-making can't do much against that.
Ugh, meara
The number key muscle memory was hard wired during adding machine days so the phone messes me up.
smh at meara's cow-orker.
Civil war possibilities are too real on too many fronts.
Timelies all!
There are ants in our kitchen. I do not like this.
I accidentally left a drop of jam in the sink the other day, and it became Ant City in there. Luckily, a couple of ant traps and a couple of days of carefully cleaning everything ASAP, and it's much better.
Ants love to follow paths, and especially paths that lead to food that other ants found (they're helpful that way), so scrubbing near the walls does really help confuse them and encourage them to move on.
